This palm tree dish towel is worked from the bottom up using just knit and purl stitches, making it very beginner friendly! A seed stitch border is worked first, followed by an easy to follow chart (or written instructions if you prefer), followed by the remainder of the towel which is all worked in seed stitch with a two stitch garter border to clean up the edges a little bit. This pattern is worked flat but I suggest using a circular needle to accommodate the stitch count more comfortably.
