Palma Top
Palma top is worked from the bottom up in a simple but decorative stitch pattern that creates a stretchy fabric. The body is worked in the round and shaped with decreases up to the underarms to give it a slight A-line shape. The body is divided at the center front, and each front and back are then worked and shaped separately back and forth. The length of the shoulder straps can easily be adjusted before they are grafted
together at the end.
Palma Top is intended to be close fitting and is therefore designed with a negative ease. To choose the correct size, look at the ‘to fit chest circumference’ measurements on the previous page. If your actual chest circumference is, say, 98 cm 38½”, you should choose to knit a size M in order to achieve the intended fit.
Sizes: XXS (XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL-4XL)
Finished measurements: Chest circumference: approx. 64 (69, 77, 85, 93, 104, 115, 125) cm 25¼ (27¼, 30¼, 33½, 36½, 41, 45¼, 49¼)” to fit chest circumference: 68-75 (76-83, 84-91, 92-99, 100-107, 108-116, 117-127, 128-149) cm 26¾-29½ (30-32¾, 33-35¾, 36¼-39, 39¼-42¼, 42½-45¾, 46-50, 50½-58¾)”; Length from shoulder to edge: approx. 48 (50, 53, 56, 60, 62, 64, 66) cm 19 (19¾, 20¾, 22, 23½, 24½, 25¼, 26)”
