Skill Level: Intermediate stitches (Spiky Puffs & Clones Knot; the latter can be substituted with a bobble, or bead).

After using this pattern you will know (if you didn’t already), a few handy basics for a crochet jeweler’s toolbox:

• How to crochet your own metal-free bracelet clasp
• How to work a Foundation Single Crochet (a.k.a “chainless foundation” or “base single crochet”)
• A way to crochet a cluster of long stitches, the Spiky Puff.

Most medium weight yarns (“worsted weight”) are great! Pattern includes an area for planning your colors.

The smaller dark pink one that you see pictured at left was a test to see how it looks with a thinner (sport weight) yarn, such as for a belt or headband. This pattern edition does not include information about the sport weight version, but the pattern is mostly the same, just use a smaller crochet hook, and extend the clasp loops and buttons for fit. Finished Dimensions
Including clasp, Palmetto Cuff is 7.5 inches/19 cm long. Instructions for extending the length to an 8 inch/21cm bracelet are included in Row 6.
