Palomar Textured Earwarmer
This quick and easy knit earwarmer pattern is worked flat and seamed at the ends to create a cute fall or winter accessory. Whether you’re an experienced knitter or just starting out, super bulky yarn and a simple knit and purl pattern repeat make it a breeze to knit. It will stretch to fit any size head between 18” and 22”, so it should fit all teens and adults.
Sizing: Approximately 19” around (21”-22” when stretched) and 4.5” wide
Gauge: 9 sts and 12 rows = 4 inches in stockinette
Materials:
- One skein of Lion Brand Hometown USA (example is shown in Houston Cream, if substituting yarn you will need 34 yards of super bulky weight (CYC-6) yarn)
- Size 13/9.0 mm knitting needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
- Size K/10.5 (6.50 mm) crochet hook (used for binding off, you will not need it if you don’t use a crochet hook to help you bind off)
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
