Palomino
Palomino ~ An open twisted rib patterned slouchy hat that was inspired by today’s fashion trends and named after my daughter’s love of horses.
Designer’s Note:
Worked flat: back and forth in rows ~ my preferred knitting technique using my bamboo straights.
For a trendy slouchy look, place hat at the back of head.
Construction: Worked from the brim to crown in one piece then seamed.
Designed to fit:
American Girl Dolls & 18” Gotz Dolls
like my model, Elisaebeth, that shares the same body type
Skill Level:
Beginner - Easy: Project using basic stitches, repetitive stitch patterns, and simple shaping and finishing.
