DESCRIPTION
This pattern is knit in the round, bottom up. It was inspired by my husband’s favorite breakfast while we lived in Siena, Italy. Many mornings I would wake up to my husband preparing his breakfast: cookies drowned in milk. He usually had these little chocolate Pan di Stelle cookies with white stars dotting the tops and so here you have the Pan di Stelle Beanie.
This pattern has three sizes available (Child, Adult Small, and Adult Large) and also includes instructions on how to easily modify the pattern to make whatever size you like.
SKILLS
This includes a beginner/advanced beginner level knitting pattern. The cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up. You can choose to use two or one colors to create the beanie. The techniques involved are knit, purl, k2tog, and the Estonian Button stitch. There are written instructions for the Estonian Button Stitch and a link to my instructional video. All Frosia Knits patterns are written in standard US terms.
