The Panda Cup Cozy is great for putting around all those cold drinks this summer, it works up quickly and is a great stash busting project too; the whole project used less than 15g of yarn.

This pattern is worked in the round using the Tunisian Simple Stitch and the colours I chose to use reminded me of of the bamboo forest the panda lives in, green for the bamboo trees and the yellow light of the sun shining through the bamboo trees. The panda motives are made separately and sewn onto the cozy.

My finished cozy measures 7cm high and 12cm wide (24cm round in total) and this fits my reusable coffee mug (which works for cold drinks too), it also fits nicely around a 750ml or 1ltr bottle too. If you want to adapt the size then you can either plus or minus the starting chain. You can also add more rows if you want to make it taller too.
