90-100 g of fingering weight yarn total: 50g (200m) of MC (white), 40g (160m) of black, and 10g (40m) of blue.
Circular needles size US 0-2, depending on your gauge / size needed.
Some scrap yarn or stitch holders for the thumb stitches.

Gauge and size: 36 x 40 = 4”; The mittens are 72 sts around hand part.
