This panda was created for my dear friend Anna, whom I met at the age of four at kindergarten in Kharkiv. Later we went to school together and sat beside at the same desk. For some years now we both have been living abroad, away from our beloved Homeland - currently war-torn Ukraine.
Millions of Ukrainians have lost their homes, jobs, and livelihood. Many people and animals survive only thanks to the help and support of volunteers.
Together with another Ukrainian schoolmate, Anna has created an information platform Friends for Ukraine about volunteers (small groups and individuals) who demonstrate heroic humanitarian work, every day providing people in Ukraine with food, hygiene items, medicines, and animal feed.

This is a KNITTING PATTERN of a PANDAstic Beast. It includes a material list, abbreviations, instructions, and photos.
The toy is knitted in the round, the limbs are attached as you knit, the ears are knitted flat and sewed on, and the face and heart are duplicate stitched.

LANGUAGE: ENGLISH.

SKILL LEVEL: Advanced beginner.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
Yarn: Cascadia from Tedi Handmade with Love 50 g / 125 m in black (≈15 g) and white (≈15 g)
2 mm circular knitting needles
2 mm two double-pointed needles
3 mm crochet hook
Darning needle
Stuffing
Stitch markers
Scrap yarn to keep stitches on hold
Contrasting yarn to embroider the heart

Depending on your yarn and needle size, the toy may be larger or smaller.

Approximately 23 cm.
