The insulating properties of pandoms are great for protecting the hands of anyone who uses cast iron pans. The pattern is easily adapted for long metal cookware, BBQ utensils, etc., too.

The MOST important note for this pattern is to use a yarn that will not melt.

As with most of my patterns, this one does not require a specific weight. If you use a different weight than worsted, you will want to scale your needles and number of stitches to accommodate the yarn.
