This is a fun and simple hat to knit. The garter stitch border makes it especially attractive and we’ve found it looks good even on people who don’t usually look good in a hat! The pattern includes directions for a simple hat in the round with garter stitch border and garter stitch mitts that are worked flat and sewn up the side.

Directions are included for three different weights of yarn - worsted, aran, and bulky.

Materials needed -

For Mitts -
100yds of worsted weight yarn
OR 100 yds aran yarn
OR 95 yards bulky yarn

For Hat -
110 yds worsted yarn
OR 110 yds aran yarn
OR 75 yds bulky yarn

Needles size 7, 8, or 9 US - 16” circular and dpns for hat
- straights or 24”circular for mitts
