Play with color to enhance the visual effects short row swings create in Panoramic Spire. Either end sports a spire effect while a long smooth vista travels through the middle. Dubbed “Swing Theory” - work solid stripes through the middle section and alternating thick / thin stripes on either edge, where the wonderment of short rows does all the hard work. The half-donut shape comprises easy Stockinette knitting with a touch of lace to provide a little knitting interest.

The tech edited and test knit intermediate level pattern is fully written with a how-to video for transitioning from the I-cord to the body and schematic.

Special Notes:

• Color It: have fun with color! You can use two colors or 12. The sample shows 4 colors.
• Fit It: for a full overlapping style, work size Large (shown). For a style where the edges just meet up or overlap a little, work size Small.
• Increase It: when working a kfb, remember to replace the removed marker between working into the front and working into the back. This keeps the center of each section marked.
• Mark It: two styles of stitch markers are recommended to distinguish between the increase markers (As) and the segment markers (Bs).
