Brighten up your kitchen with this pretty pansy potholder, backed against a granny square. The front is made with surface crochet and the back is solid, not a granny square, so it will handle all of your hot cooking jobs. It is made with worsted weight yarn. Like any other granny motif, you can use it to make lot of other things. Make it without the ring and you have a great hot pad or trivet.

Finished potholder measures a generous 7-1/2” square.
