Pansy Pixy, A Miniature Bear
Pansy the Pixy Bear is about 3 inches tall when crocheted from size 30 crochet thread, size 12 pearl cotton, or punch thread with a size 10 (1.3mm) hook. However, you may use other threads and hook sizes to make her in different sizes. She is 5-way jointed, with a cotter pin/disk-jointed head and thread-jointed limbs.
This pattern book includes instructions for making the bear, pansy flower hat, the little dress, the pixy dust bag, and of course the wings.
The patterns are very detailed and the book includes several photos taken from different angles. The bear pattern contains instructions for jointing the head and limbs, attaching the eyes, and embroidering the features.
