Errata note: On line 7 for both sizes where it says “(Sc in next 2st, sk next dc) around”, it should be (Sc in next 2st, sk next st around).

These little panties are begun by crocheting over a small hair elastic, the clear kind that come several dozen to an inexpensive, dollar store pack. I used a vintage steel hook marked “8”, which I believe is an old USA hook.

I haven’t included a gauge as it is nearly impossible to measure gauge on a tiny, shaped object. I can only suggest that if they don’t fit on your first try adjust your hook size up or down accordingly.
