The stitch pattern of this design reminded me of a papaya cut in half with the beaded rib looking like the seeds.

Pattern is cuff down, with heel flap and gusset and my favorite rounded wedge toe.

The beaded rib is nice and stretchy without being boring. I like interesting heels so I extended the stitch pattern down the heel flap for interest, while still incorporating slipped stitches for durability.

There are 2 sizes, but the pattern is easily customizable by using lighter or heavier fingering weight yarn and/or adjusting your needles. If you really need an in-between size, just leave out the cables on the back of the leg and you can take out half a pattern repeat.

Pattern has both charts and written instructions. And has been tested.
