Paper Birch
December Holiday Sale! All patterns are 50% off in the month of December using the code HOLIDAY23 (sale runs 12/1-12/31).
Paper Birch is a toe-up colorwork sock that highlights the gradual color change in Spincycle’s Dyed In The Wool yarn by placing it against the simple elegance of Magpie Fibers’ Swanky Sock. The colorwork pattern is clearly charted and easy to follow, this would be a great project for a beginner colorwork knitter. Paper Birch utilizes an afterthought heel to minimize the disruption of the patterning.
Errata:
* The second paragraph of the toe should read:
The first 13 (13, 17) sts will be the Front/Instep and the remaining 13 (13, 17) sts will be the Back/Bottom of Foot.
- Toe Rnd 1 Back is missing a k1 MC as the first stitch.
- the pattern has been updated, but if you downloaded the pattern prior to 9:30am PST Wednesday 4/25, there will be an error. Thank you!
