The shawl is worked in rows and in one piece, starting from top, the crescent shape is formed using short rows, a few garter rows separate papillon motives part and lace edging which creates the lines of some kind of embroidery.

Yarn:
any fingering weight yarn , for your reference I used Holst Garn Coast in Tawny Owl (50% merino wool, 45% cotton), 50g/350mt (1.75oz/ 191yds) - approx 470mt / 515 yds

Needles: size US 3 (3.25mm) 24”- 26”circulars or longer circulars, adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
