Puppus pullover is a surprisingly quick project at a very loose gauge with big size needles, constructed in completely seamless way without cutting the yarn. The combination of thin yarn and big needle gives light, transparent and airy texture to this pullover.

Upper body, puff sleeves and cuffs are worked flat as a rectangular piece, started with a provisional cast on at the back, knitted up to the back neck, bound off for back neck and then casted on again for the front neck, knitted down to the front, then folded in. The sleeves are seamed together with 3 needle bind off on each side, and lower body is worked in the round down to the bottom hem.

This pattern has one size for body with Elbow length sleeves or 3/4 sleeves. You can adjust the size very easily. (around arm, around bust, body length, sleeve length)

Yarn: Lace or light fingering weight yarn. The sample pullover with elbow length sleeves is knitted with alpaca lace & mohair lace weight yarn held together and another sample 3/4 sleeves is knitted with lace weight wool yarn.

Yardage: 453 / 522 m (497 / 571 yds) for elbow length sleeves / 3/4 sleeves, excluding yarn for knitting swatch.

Needles: 6 mm (US 10) circular needle 100 cm (40“) or longer. Adjust needle size if necessary to get gauge.

Notions: 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle, spare needle (same size or smaller than main needle), waste yarn.

綿毛のプルオーバーは、太い針を使って、ローゲージで、さくさくと編むパターンです。細い糸と、太い針の組み合わせで、透け感のある、とても軽い仕上がりになります。

このパターンは糸を切らずに、シームレスで編めるタイプの構造をしています。

最初に、往復編みで「身頃、パフスリーブ、カフ（袖口）」が、つながった横長の長方形を一枚編みます。後ろ身頃上部からスタートして、ネックラインの方向へ編み進め、伏せ目と作り目でネックラインを作り、前身頃上部を下に向かって編みます。編み地を上下に二つに折り畳み、右側と左側で、それぞれ、伏せ止めをして袖を作り、身頃下部を輪編みで編みます。

毛糸：レース糸(極細)、もしくは細めの中細糸。5分袖のサンプルは、モヘアのレース糸とアルパカのレース糸を引き揃えて、7分袖はウールのレース糸1本取りで編んでいます。

サイズ：このパターンはオーバーサイズのプルオーバー、1サイズのみですが、袖の長さ、 袖まわり、胴回り、着丈は、簡単に調節出来ます。

袖丈：5分袖(7分袖)の編み方をパターンに載せています。

糸の量：453 (522) m

ゲージ：14目×20段 = 10 cm(ブロッキング後の往復メリヤス編み)

針：13号(6 mm)の輪針、100 cm 以上の長さのもの (ゲージに合わせて針のサイズを変 えて下さい)、予備針 (メインの針と同じか、それよりも細い針) 1本。

その他：マーカー2つ、とじ針、余り糸。
