Stylised Art Deco leaf textures decorate this drop-sleeve jumper. “THIS SWEATER design was inspired by an Art Deco leaf motif, and the stitch pattern combines cables and texture to create a series of linked leaf shapes,” says Emma Vining. “Each leaf shape is mirror-imaged, and each pair of leaves is offset from the pair below. The lower body is worked as a short section of garter stitch with a rib detail, while the outer body sections use a stocking stitch and ridge pattern.” Emma’s design uses Isle Aran, a Shetland-BFL blend from World of Wool.
