This is a double knit scarf, it can be done by a strong beginner. I have written the pattern with a color change about halfway up, but you can just complete it with two colors.

This pattern is 12 total charts, but the last 6 are a repeat of the first 6, just in a backwards order and upside down.

The stars in the pattern will bend around the neck and come back around so that the island and fish are right side up while the scarf is hanging.
