Skill level: Advanced

Materials. You need 200 gram Artistic yarn by Kauni (Variegated yarn Kauni), 100% wool, 800 meters/100 gram. Kauni comes in hanks. Before knitting you need to rewind the hanks of yarn into balls. You need also 100 gram solid (single-colored) fine mohair, 900 meters/100 gram.

Gauge 20 st(s) x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm. (44 inch)

Knitting needle size. You need Circular knitting needles № 3,5, crochet hook, stitch markers.

Stockinette stitch. Right side - knit stitches; wrong side - purl stitches.
1st row (RS): knit
2nd row (WS): purl
Shortened rows are stockinette stitch also.

Attention: This pattern has a difficult skill level

General skills needed: knit and purl stitches, increasing and decreasing, shortened rows, stitch graft (grafting).

This pattern doesn’t include lessons for knitting in short rows. In order to knit it you must know basic knitting techniques, and know the knitting terms.
