Parallelism is the ideal project to learn how short-rows create colorwork and how a motif can be repeated. It’s simple yet striking use of alternating stripes allows plenty of room for color play. Designed for 2 yarn weights, sock and worsted, the scarf can easily be adjusted for different lengths, sizes, and gauges.

PATTERN NOTES
Adjusting the length of this scarf is managed by adding or removing repeats of Rows 1 to 24 of the Main Section. Alternatively, you can adjust sizing via gauge, either by yarn weight or needle size. To ensure the fabric remains balanced and to maintain pattern continuity, always end the Main Section after a Row 6 before working the final border.

Pattern available April 16, 2024 in the book Short-Row Colorwork Knitting.
