Resembling stacks of parcels tied up with string this simple pattern uses just basic knit and purl stitches. It’s worked all in one, so there’s no sewing involved, and the unisex design means it’s also a good baby shower gift.

Instructions are given for four sizes:
63x67, 78x82, 92x97 and 106x112cm
(25x26, 30x32, 36x38 and 42x44”)

You will need:
300, 400, 600, 700g chunky yarn (I used Stylecraft Special Chunky)
(432, 576, 854, 1008m)
(471, 628, 942, 1099 yards)

You will also need 6mm needles - straights are fine for the smallest size but you will need circular needles to accommodate all the stitches for the larger sizes.
