This is a 7 page pdf file of pattern instructions to make this beautiful crocheted hat in a Floret stitch and wide ribbed band pattern. This loose fitting hat frames your face attractively with a pretty halo effect. Crochet in single color or two contrasting colors for more dramatic effect. It can be worn any time of the year.

Dimensions: Two adult sizes (small should fit young teenagers)

Small: 20 inches circumference head band unstretched
Large: 23 inches circumference head band unstretched

The stretch in the ribbed band is about 3 inches.

The back of the hat (flat) is 11 inches wide for the small and 11 1/2 inches wide for the large.

The instructions include photo tutorials for BP and FP hdc (hdc in back and front post) for the ribbing and hdc2tog (crochet decrease). The beginner as well as the expert should be able to compete this hat with ease.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate (If you’ve worked in the round before you should be able to complete this project.)
