Parmeada was an ancient princess, King Cyrus the great’s daughter and married to Darius I. The shawl is worked in three different patterns and gold beads are worked across the shawl to make it perfect for a princess. The first pattern is an eyelet with added beads. The second pattern is rows of eyelets and the third pattern is a beautiful lace pattern repeated twice. To finish the shawl, I have used Picot bind off that adds to the beauty of the design.
