Part of Your Story
Welcome to the first ever Sannila Designs mystery shawl knitalong!
Pick your favourite yarn with good stitch definition in three different colours and join me on this adventure! For colours I recommend going from lightest to darkest that can be somewhat faded together. We’re not looking for a full-on gradient but a light shade, a dark shade and something in between to connect them. Two special yarn kits have been dyed by Wool Me Once Fibers, you can find them here.
The pattern is divided into 11 parts and we will be knitting for right about a month. The clues will be published a few days apart, depending on the amount of knitting in each. They will be updated as follows:
Part 1: 21.4.
Part 2: 23.4.
Part 3: 25.4.
Part 4: 26.4.
Part 5: 29.4.
Part 6: 30.4.
Part 7: 2.5.
Part 8: 4.5.
Part 9: 6.5.
Part 10: 11.5.
Part 11: 16.5.
Other than that, there’s not much more I can reveal. Prepare for everything and have fun! Join the discussions and learn more in my Ravelry group.

Gauge:
Garter stitch on the smaller needle: 22 sts x 40 rows = 4 x 4” / 10 x 10 cm after blocking, 23 sts x 50 rows before blocking.
Secret stitch pattern on the bigger needle: 23 sts x 40 rows = 4 x 4” / 10 x 10 cm after blocking, 26 sts x 40 rows before blocking.
A difference in gauge may result in you needing more yarn.
Others:
