Partition Tank Top is a sexy, stylish, mesh tank perfect for summer days and club nights. The lace stitch used for the mesh is simple and easy to memorize with just a four stitch and two row repeat. This tank is knit top down, flat to the underarm, then joined in the round and knit to the hem. Super deep armholes give the Partition Tank Top a cool attitude. All the edges of the tank are finished with clean and structured icords. Use #PartitionTankTop and tag me @jamesnwatts on Instagram and tiktok.

YARN
Cumbria, by Pascuali. 50 grams, 164 yards / 150 meters, sport weight, 60% cotton, 40% rayon.
Sample was knit in the colorway “Black 335”.

Any yarn that gets gauge can work in this pattern, though I highly recommend using plant fibers for this summery pullover, especially yarns like cumbria that are blended with a very drapey and shiny synthetic such as rayon, viscose, or Tencel/lyocell.

GAUGE
14 sts x 24 rows = 4” / 10 cm in mesh lace pattern on US 7 / 4.5 mm needles, or any needle size that gets gauge.

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
• US 7 (4.5 mm) circular knitting needles at least 24” / 60 cm long for lace.
• You may need a different needle size to get the correct gauge for your icord edgings. My icords tend to be loose, so I sized down to Size US 4 (3.5mm) needles, but you may get your icord gauge on 7s or even larger needles if you are a tight icord knitter.
• Ring stitch marker for beginning of round.

SIZING
XS(S, M, L, XL) (XXL, 3X, 4X, 5X)

to fit a chest circumference of :
30(34, 38, 42, 46) (50, 54, 58, 62)” /
76 (86.5, 96.5, 106.5, 117)(127, 137, 147.5, 157.5) cm

Finished pullover is meant to be worn with 0-6” / 0-15 cm of positive ease at the chest, and has a finished body circumference of:
34.25(38.75, 41.25, 43.5, 48) (52.5, 57.25, 59.5, 64)” /
87 (98.5, 105, 110.5, 122)(133.5, 145.5, 151, 162.5) cm

I also suggest that you compare the finished body circumference to your waist circumference. If your chest circumference is much larger than your waist circumference, you may choose to size down to avoid an overly loose fit around your waist.
