Without denial, 2020 has to be one of the hardest years we, as a global community, have experienced in a long, long time.

Now that it’s a new year, let’s start it with our spirits high and our hands busy - this project is perfect for setting the mental and emotional tone for 2021 and all upcoming years, physically!

With honor and privilege, I present to you, in collaboration with the wonderful designers from MT Studio, a section of Madeline Tosh Yarns:

Notes:
➔ It’s been such a long year – let’s celebrate its leaving by welcoming the New Year in style, with this fun, festive, and relaxing wrap!
➔ In order to get the desired effect of a straight side that rests on the top of the wrap, the stitch additions are added at the end of the row. So, once the there’s 1 stitch left on the forward pass (yes, the ending stitch!), YO, then complete the last stitch. For the return, treat the YO as a stitch and continue as usual – ch 1, (yo, pull through 2 sts) across, until 1 st is left on hook.
➔ The bottom of the wrap is done as a pie shape wedge in a technique used for Tunisian in the round – if unfamiliar, the following link is a good resource for learning about how to accomplish it. This is also the resource I used when learning how to do Tunisian in the round with wedges: https://thecrochetcrowd.com/tunisian-circles/
