Delightful pattern for 18”/19” Girl Dolls glitter party dress and shawl.

18”/19” will fit Gotz, Design-a-Friend, American Girl.

Knitted on size 4.50 mm and 3.50 mm needles. Like most of my patterns this isn’t a difficult project, I like to design with the novice and the experienced knitter in mind!

The dress takes 50 grams of King Cole Galaxy D/K glitter wool, (lovely sequins are woven into the wool)
The shawl also takes 50 grams of King Cole Galaxy D/K glitter wool in a contrast colour.
Tension for this garment 20 stitches and 25 rows to 4”. (just in case you need to use another wool).

What little girl could want more for her doll?

My Grand daughter loves her 18”Girl Doll but she finds the fabric clothes cost too much to buy from her pocket money, (and difficult for little fingers to put on and take off!), so she asked her ‘Knitting Nanny Mo’ to design and knit some for her.
This is the outfit requested when she was going to an evening wedding reception and wanted something ‘sparkly’!!
