Combine knitted stripes and blocks of colour to knit this cute and cuddly elephant. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, this toy is knitted in acrylic DK yarns, and most pieces are worked on single pointed needles (not in the round). The tail is an i-cord tube worked on two DPNs.

NEEDLES
A pair each of 4mm single pointed knitting needles and DPNs (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; less than 50g in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, beads for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - 23cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
