Party Sign Arrow
This knitting pattern presents a unique opportunity to design and customize your own event sign! The length of the arrow is adjustable, and a simple i-cord is used to work the lettering, so you can make the text read anything you wish! This pattern had detailed, step-by-step instructions, ensuring smooth sailing for your party planning.
If you are like me and you have a love of all things sparkly, you may choose to bedazzle the knitted arrow to your heart’s content with rhinestones. Alternative, you may choose to leave the arrow elegantly understated. You may work up this pattern in any color, and any type of fingering weight yarn! The knitted arrow can also be used as a fun prop to point to cool things, such as a surprise gift, a winning lottery ticket (haha), or cookies left behind on the kitchen table for a loved one to find and eat.
Size: Arrow measures 15” long, (but the length is adjustable) and the text measures 12” long (but can also be customized to your needs).
Stitches and Techniques Used: Stockinette stitch, I-cord, 3-needle bind off
Suggested Yarn: 1 skein of Solstice Silver Fingering, by Mosaic Moon (75% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon, 5% Silver Sparkle Fiber) 438 yards per skein. Color used in photos: Silver Frost
How to Attache to Your Sign: You may use regular glue, hot glue, pins, or staples to attach your knitted text and arrow to your chosen sign backing, (wood, cardstock, foam-board, etc.)
