Party Time Toe-Up Sock
The first time I saw this curly cable pattern, I thought, confetti, streamers, a celebration is afoot.
Let’s Celebrate is a perfect toe-up sock pattern for a birthday, homecoming, or new year. I combined this cable with a twisted stitch ribbing and placed it asymmetrically on instep, leg, and heel flap. The cuff is worked in a vertical drop stitch. Directions include reinforced heel, and options for tapered or rounded toe, generic or calculated foot length, and Russian or picot bind off. References provided for most techniques.
