Paruline is a short and slightly oversized pullover, knit from the bottom up to the armholes. The back and the front are then knit separately and joined at the shoulders on three needles. Stitches are picked up around the armholes and the sleeves are knit from the top down in the round. It is of course possible to knit a longer jumper or to extend the sleeves. The ample sleeve is gathered in at the cuff. The jumper features a yellow and grey pattern band on the lower half. A strip of small yellow squares is knit on the bottom edge of the sleeves and they are finished with an I-cord edge. Stitches are picked up around the neckline to finish the neckband. It is an easy pattern to knit and has no seam.
