Pasqueflower Shawl
This shawl was designed around the Estonian stitch pattern Pasqueflower Pattern 1 (The Haapsalu Shawl by Siiri Reimann and Aime Edasi, page 77). The construction of the shawl, however, is not traditional. It is a triangular shawl that is knit from the top down with increases on every right-side row, worked at the edges and each side of the center stitch. It does not have a knit-on edging.
I made it with a handspun lace yarn but I think it would work well for most lace to light fingering weight yarns.
Warning - the pattern has not been test knitted by anyone other than myself so there may be errors. Please let me know if you find any and I will post a corrected version. Thanks.
3-15-2023 Version 2 - Chart 2, row 87, stitch 67 changed from k to ssk.
3-29-23: Version 3 - Chart 5, columns 12 and 70, decreases should be knits.
