Passages Poncho
Summer may be here, but for those days when there is still a hint of a chill in the air I wanted a colour filled way to keep warm. A poncho offers the prettiness of a shawl with the ease of wear of a sweater. I worked this poncho in passages of different colour and different stitches to add interest to the making as much as to the wearing.
The pattern is a single size, which comfortably fits UK size 14-30.
Colourway 1
The poncho requires 1 x100g skein of one yarn (knit picks stroll tonal yarn in colour Pansy) and 1.5 x100g skein of a contrasting or complementary yarn (Moth and the Squid sock yarn in colourway Lungwart).
Colourway 2
1 x100g skein of one yarn (Sara’s Texture Crafts sock yarn in colour Final Frontier) and 1.5 x100g skein of a contrasting or complementary yarn (Drops superwash 4ply baby merino grey) .
Colourway 3
1 x100g skein of one yarn (Ainsworth and Prin, alpaca and silk 4ply in slate) and 1.5 x100g skein of a contrasting or complementary yarn (Ainsworth and Prin, alpaca and silk 4ply in Tina Sparkles) .
