Passap knitting machine pattern for a man’s set-in sleeve, crew neck sweater. Instructions are given for knitting a lynx motif in fairisle on the front panel either through manual patterning following the diagram given or using Deco punchcard 64.

The sweater could equally be knit plain without the motif.

The pattern calls for 280 (300) g /10 (10 1/2) ozs of “fairly fine mohair, beige” (600m per 100g) plus an oddment black yarn.

The test square in stocking stitch: 100 sts = 34 cm/13 3/8”, 100 rows = 24 cm/9 1/2”
