“Passe-partout” is a warm textured cowl worked bottom up and in the round.
Every beginner can give it a try, but seasoned knitters will enjoy knitting it just as well !

Skills required are basic : work in the round, cast on, knit, purl, binf off.
The central pattern is easily memorized, written and charted instructions are provided.

I chose Grignasco “Loden” in 2 lovely pastel colors (grey and yellow) to work it, and it resulted in a warm cozy cowl, with this unique casual look that tweed yarns are offering, but any well-defined yarn of your choice that achieves gauge will do just as well !

The unique surface interest of “Passe-partout” authorizes it to be worked in one unique color too !

“Passe-partout” est un joli col texturé et chaud, tricoté en rond en quelques heures.

Cet ouvrage ne demande que des techniques de bases : tricot en rond, mailles endroit et envers, point mousse.
Il est donc accessible aux débutants comme aux tricoteurs(teuses) chevronné(e)s.
Le motif texturé est rapidement mémorisé, et j’ai ajouté un diagramme pour vous aider à le visualiser en cours de travail.
Je l’ai réalisé en Grignasco “Loden”, en choisissant 2 couleurs douces, gris doux et jaune paille, mais tout autre fil de votre choix pourra convenir, pourvu qu’il soit bien défini et qu’il corresponde à l’échantillon.
Ce modèle unisexe peut également être réalisé en une seule couleur.
