To capture these qualities, this Tunisian crochet cowl incorporates a Tunisian twist on the traditional crochet Iris stitch, that I am calling the Iris Ladder stitch. Red irises represent love, passion, and romance, blue irises represent faith, devotion and trust, and purple irises represent respect and knowledge. Created with three skeins (100g/268m/295yds) of Berroco Medina yarn (37% cotton, 36% acrylic, 27% rayon) this cowl can be worn forward or backward as a neck/shoulder warmer for cooler summer evenings. This is a very light DK yarn and is pictured in color 4772 Melilla which includes the colors red, blue, and purple: Passion, Faith, and Knowledge.
