To choose the best fit, measure the circumference of the recipient’s chest and add either 2-3 in / 5-7.5 cm for sizes 1-4 OR 5-6 in / 12.5-15 cm for sizes 5-10. Choose the finished circumference closest to this measurement, considering the best fit for your child. Because this sweater has significant positive ease, considering sizing down if between sizes and adjusting body and arm length as needed. See schematics for finished measurements and sizing tips.

Suggested Needles
Needle A: US 10 (6mm) preferred needles for knitting flat, or needle size used to meet gauge
Needle B: US 9 (5.5mm) preferred needles for knitting in the round, or one size smaller than needle for main fabric
