Después de darle muchas vueltas al diseño de este patrón, creo haber encontrado lo que estaba buscando, lo primero que pensé fue el nombre, ya que la lana venía desde Chile de mano de Mr Wool, artesano tintorero y amigo, a quien agradezco desde aquí que haya pensado en mí para este proyecto tan bonito.
El patrón comienza tejiendo el cuerpo del gorro y una vez cerrado en la coronilla vuelves a recoger los puntos del filo para tejer la vuelta que sube, esto hace el efecto de doble filo pero sin el grosor que se forma cuando tejes la liguilla doble. Espero que te divierta tejerlo tanto como a mí. ¡A pasarlo bien!

After several attempts at designing this pattern I think I’ve finally found what I was looking for. The first thing I thought of was the name, seeing as the wool came from Chile from the hands of hand-dyer and friend, Mr Wool, who I am so grateful to for thinking of me for this beautiful project.
The pattern starts with the body of the hat and once closed at the crown you return to pick up stitches from the cast-on edge and knit down for the brim. This gives the effect of a double brim without the thickness of one.
