This jacket was knitted with hand spun and hand dyed Patagonian merino wool, but any bulky wool can be used. Local artisans use a variety of natural dyes to obtain several hues, which are mixed here in a simple design that enhances both texture and colour. This jacket has a classic and easy-to-knit construction, featuring raglan sleeves, high collar, zipped front and very comfortable diagonal pockets.

Instructions and diagrams are given for medium size, if changes are necessary for small and large sizes they follow in parenthesis in the text.

Hand spun and hand dyed merino, bulky weight, in 4 colours. Total 825 m (750 m, 975 m) = 1100 g (1000 g, 1300 g). Main colour (undyed): 600 m (525 m, 750 m) = 800 g (700 g, 1000 g), 3 other colours: one large ball (approx. 75 m = 100 g) of each.
