A relaxing walk in the woods inspired this afghan. The vivid colors were taken from a verdant countryside, rich with color and pattern. The afghan is worked in individual squares in single and double crochet stitches, then arranged and sewn together alternating the direction of the stripes.
Materials: Bucilla Softex: 6 oz. each of colors A, B, C, D, E, and F; size J aluminum crochet hook, or size to obtain gauge given below.
Gauge: 10 stitches = 3 1/2”; 9 rows = 3 1/2”
