All knitted stitch patterns are made from knit or purl stitches, and there are some simple ones that combine the two to produce lovely fabrics. The blanket here is made using my favourite patterns in a patchwork design. Making it is the perfect way to practice creating texture without having to concentrate on shaping as you would in a garment.
