Patchwork Corner to Corner
by Olga Poltava
This pattern is
available for free.
This is a video tutorial for a beautiful, modern looking, patchwork crochet stitch. The technique used in this stitch is corner to corner, but each block has three rows.
This stitch can be worked with a variety of yarns. I don’t recommend variegated yarns as the design will blend it and won’t be visible. Solid colors and self-striping yarns should work!
I worked the sample shown in the photos with YarnArt Begonia yarn (category 2, 100% mercerized cotton) and a steel hook size 1.8 mm.
You can use this stitch for many crochet projects, such as afghans and baby blankets, table runners and table clothes, tops or cardigans.
