This Patchwork Cushion uses three different stitch designs, Mock Cable, Diagonal Trellis & Honeycomb and a total of nine individual squares. The layout of the squares as well as the combination of the different stitches creates wonderful textural variety to the finished patchwork design.

The Patchwork Cushion project was a KAL project over a 4 week period, that I added to my website, www.madeinwinchester.co.uk. I have given clear step by step information along with links to my mini videos showing how to construct the individual stitches and for making the cushion cover from start to finish.

What you need:
• 3 x 50g ball of Aran weight yarn, such as Drops Big Merino
• Size 5mm knitting needles
• Darning needle

Other Materials:
• Cushion pad 40cms x 40cms
• Backing fabric
• Pins
• Measuring tape
• Sewing needle & thread
• Small water spritzer (for Wet Blocking)
