I’ve always dreamed of having a vintage-inspired granny square blanket in my home and now I do. AND YOU CAN TOO! I’ll walk you through the steps of creating the Patchwork Granny Blanket of your dreams, with helpful tips and video tutorials to help you along the way.
This pattern is more like a recipe, breaking down the appropriate materials and techniques needed - you bring the CREATIVITY! This project works great for fingering weight advents, sock leftovers, or full skeins that you’re dyeing to use up.
MATERIALS:
- 4mm crochet hook
- 40 mini skeins, OR 800 total yards of fingering weight yarn to make the squares
- 210 grams of fingering weight yarn to join the squares
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Blocking supplies
This is a completely free pattern based on four-year WIP that I finally finished. Please consider sharing your project here on Ravelry to encourage more crocheters to fall in love with lightweight yarns. xo
