Patchwork Hearts Filet Blanket
This colourful blanket is made of 20 individual heart squares and is super easy and quick to make. It would be a beautiful gift for a newborn or young baby and you could match the colours of the blanket to the baby’s room decor.
The filet pattern is very easy for beginners as there are no unusual or difficult stitches to master.
The pattern contains written instructions with full stitch counts for every row, as well as a complete crochet chart.
REQUIREMENTS:
YARN: Hayfield Bonus DK 100% acrylic yarn – Total 460g/16.3oz (1407yds / 1288m) or any acrylic yarn in Weight No 3 / DK / Light Worsted / 8-ply. 100g ball (306yds/280m) of each of the 4 main colours and 60g (183yds/168m) of white.
STITCHES: Chains, Slip stitches, US single crochet/UK Double crochet, US half-double crochet/UK half-treble crochet and US double crochet/UK treble crochet
OTHER: 4.00mm (G6) and 3.50mm (E4) hooks, yarn needle, scissors, stitch markers
MEASUREMENTS: 39in x 30.5ins / 100cm x 77cm approx.
