This cute patchwork pear appliqué is great for embellishment of any crocheted or sewn project :-) Just make your projects unique!


This pattern is written in standard American (US) terms, in English language, with step-by-step instruction and plenty pictures for succesfull completing of your work. The file has 7 pages.


Needed material:

  • fine yarn/ sport/ 5 ply/ 12 wpi calls for 3 mm hook
  • hook 3 mm (US B or C hook)
  • tapestry needle
  • common sewing thread and needle
  • 1 flower button average 1.5 cm
  • Toho beads, beads size 8/0, average 3.1 mm
  • scissors

I used this yarn:
I used 100% mercerized cotton yarn Catania by Schachenmayr
Weight: Sport/ 5ply (12 wpi)
Yardage: 125m / 137 yds in (50g)
Gauge: 26 stitches in 4 inch (10 cm)

For green pear I used these colors: 105 beige, 404 sand, 100 light yellow, 205 apple green, 212 khaki green, 392 yellow-green, 222 orchid, 254 grey-brown. You will need approximately 10 g of yarn totally.

There is written the suggestion for some alternative material in the pattern.


Dimenssion of finished appliqué: 9 cm /3.5 inch tall without stem and leaves x 6.5 cm/ 2.5 inch width. Please remember, that if you will use material with different gauge, the size of finished creation will be different.
