The Patchwork Prism baby blanket is a fun, colorful and full of texture. This blanket uses a combination of basic stitches, as well as some front and back post stitches. The size of the blanket with 16 squares and the border is 34.5” x 34.5” / 88 cm x 88 cm, but is easily adaptable. You can choose to crochet more or less squares, since the border works with any stitch increment.

This blanket uses only 2 colors and 3 skeins of each color. The contrast color is a self striping yarn and the yarn is carried up with each round (only 4 ends to weave in for each square!).

This pattern is available for free to view on my ad supported website. The ad free pdf includes: written directions in US terminology, 14 point font for easier reading, a full page chart of the crochet square and a gift tag for gifting your finished blanket.

To purchase a kit from Mary Maxim that includes the printed pattern and the yarn required to make the blanket, please see my website for the link.
